A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HENNEPIN COUNTY
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO PLACE A
STOP SIGN AT FOX STREET AND OLD CRYSTAL
BAY ROAD
WHEREAS the City of Orono and the Hennepin County Department
of Transportation has received information of a traffic contro1 problem
at tfie intersection of Fox Street and Old Crystal Bay Road in the city
of Orono , and ,
WHEREAS the City of Orono staff has determined and recommended
to the Orono City Council that the installation of an additional stop "
sign at that intersection would improve the safety of traffic flow at
that intersection .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Orono
� Minnesota does hereby request Hennepin County Department of Transportation
to install a regulation size and type stop sig�� at the intersection of
Fox Street and Old Crystal Bay Road .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the stop sign be p1aced so as to
stop the east bound traffic on Fox Street at 01d Crystal Bay Road .
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono at a regular meeting
held January 26 , 1981 .
