DETERMINING THAT ONE SANITARY SEWER
SERVICE STUB WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE
PROPERTY AT 1305 SHORELINE DRIVE TO
SERVE ONLY THE MAIN HOUSE
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized
and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Sewer Project 80-1 has be�n initiated by the City to
solve -existing on-site sewage treatment problems in the Minnetonka Bluffs-
West Ferndale Area, within which the property at 1305 Shoreline Drive,
legally described as Tract B, RLS 1350, is located; and
WHEREAS, the property at 1305 Shoreline Drive has an area of
approximately 2. 9 acres, and contains a main structure and a large
carriage house accessory building; and
WHEREAS, the property owner has indicated that the carriage
� house has not been lived in for many years and now is needed for storage
• only; and
WHEREAS, the carriage house is not now habitable and the
owner has indicated that he has no intention of converting the building
for rental use, guest house use, or for any other dwelling purposes,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Orono, that only one sewer service stub be provided to the property at
1305 Shoreline Drive, with the following conditions :
l. A sewer stub will be provided from the West Ferndale
project to serve only the main structure on the property.
2. The carriage house will not be considered as a habitable
dwelling and may not be converted thereto without reconsideration
and assessment of appropriate sewer unit charges in the future.
Adopted by the City Council of the City o Oron on the Tenth
day of November, 1980. /
