Dear Mr. Odean:
Last evening the City Council adopted a resolution formally naming
the cul de sac "Dakota Avenue”. This was the name favored by a
majority of the owners in the last poll taken by my office.
We ask that each and every owner install the correct house numbers
on your house and on your mailboxT The numbers should be large
enough (4" - 6'*) to be easily visible by someone driving up the
street. They should be reflective or painted to contrast with the
background.
The City will be changing the street signs to better identify the
area. We will also be notifying the post office, fire department,
and other agencies so they have correct records.
I thank you a’ * participating in this review and for understanding
the need for w s.-»nsistent name and number system for the neighborhood.
For those who have to change their mailing address and other
records, a soecial thank you for the extra effort this takes. I
know these changes will take time, but it will be in everyone's
best interest to do so as soon as possible.
