• RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT FOR
PROJECT AREA MINNETONKA BLUFFS
SEWER PROJECT 80-1 AND 80-2
Tr1HEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bic�s for the
Ferndale, Orono Lane, and. County Road #15 area (�0-1) and Scotch
Pine Lane, North Shore Drive (80-2) , several different bids were
received, opened and tabulated accor.ding to law, and
WHEREAS, it appears that Latour Coristruction Company is the
lowest responsible bidder for the sewer project known as
Minnetonka Bluffs, �
NOW THEREFORE, be , it resolved by the City Cotincil of the
City of Orono, Minnesota.
l. The mayor and clerk are authorized and directed to
enter into the attached contract with Latour Construction Company
in the name of the City of Orono, according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file
in the of_fice of the City CJ_erk .
• 2 . The City Clerk is hereby authori�ed and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their hids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained. until the contract is siqned.
Adopted by the C'ity Council of the City of Orono, n�innesota
at a regular meeting held October 8 , 1980 b_y a vote of 4 ayes and
1 nay.
