RESOI�UTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT FOR
PROJECT AREA NORTH SHORE DRIVE AND
SCOTCH PINE LANE •
SEWER PROJECT 80-1 AND 80-2
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
Ferndale, Orono Lane, and County Road #15 area (8�-1) and Scotch
Pine Lane, North Shore Drive (80-2) , several different bids were
received, opened and tahulated according to la��r, and
WHERFAS, it appears that Nodland Associates, Inc. is the
lowest responsible bidder for the sewer project known as North
Shore Drive and Scotch Pine Lane,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Orono, Minnesota
l. The mayor and clerk are authorized and directed to
enter into the attached contract with Nodland Associates, Inc. in
the name of the City of Orono, according to the plans and specifi-
cations therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the
• office of the City Clerk.
2 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all hidders the deposits made with their �ids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall �e retained until the contract is si_qned.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota
at a regular meeting held October 8 , 1980 by a vote of 5 ayes and
0 nay. '
