� RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT
FOR PROJECT AREA ORONO LANE AND WEST FERNDALE
SEWER PROJECT - 80-1 AND 80-2
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
construction of the sewer project of Minnetonka Bluffs, West
Ferndale, Orono Lane, and County Road #15 area (80-1) and Scotch
Pine Lane, North Shore Drive (80-2) , several different bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to law, and
WHEREAS, it appears that G and L Contracting Company is the
lowest responsible bidder for the sewer project known as Orano
Lane and West Ferndale) ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Orono, Minnesota:
l. The mayor and clerk are authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with G & L Contracting Company in the
name of the City of Orono, according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file
in the office of the City Clerk.
. 2 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
Pxcept that the deposits of the successful bi��er and the' next
lowest bidder shall be retained until the contract is signed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, A9innesota,
at a regular meeting held October 8 , 1980 , by a vote of 5 ayes and
0 nays.
