RESOLUTION ORDERING INIPROVEMENT
� FOR PROJECT AREA COUNTY ROAD # 15
(MARINA AREA)
� SEWER PROJECT - 80-1 AND 80-2
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
construction of the sewer project of Minnetonka Bluffs, West
Ferndale, Orono Lane, and County Road #15 area (80-1) and Scotch
Pine Lane, North Shore Drive (80-2) , several different bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to law, and
WHEREAS, it appears �that Latour Construction Company is the
lowest responsible bidder for the sewer project known as County
Road #15 (Marina Area) ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Orono, Minnesota:
1. The mayor and clerk are authorized and directed to �enter
into the attached contract with Latour Construction Company in the
name of the City of Orono, according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file
in the office of the City Clerk.
• 2 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained izntil the contract is signed.
Adopted by the City Cauncil of the City of Orono, Minnesota,
at a regular meeting held October 8 , 1980 , by a vote of 5 ayes and
0 nays.
