RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

• • • A RESOLliTIO?�� ORDERING IMPROVEMENT
LS-1980-1 & LS-1980-2
WHEkEAS , pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
construction of the sewer project of Minnetonka Bluffs, West
Ferndale , Orono Lane , and County Road �r15 area (80-1) and Scotch
Pine Lane, North Shore Drive (80-2) , several diiferent bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to law, and
h�HEkEAS, the City Council presently intends to proceed
with the construction of the improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOT�:
l . Th` City will proceed with the construction of the
above improver�ent, but subject to the City Council ' s option to
cancel all or any part of the project on or before October 8 ,
�!980 . The City Administrator , Engineer , and Attorney are directec
� �o conclude the analysis of which contractor is the lowest
responsible bidder and report their findings to the City Council .
2 . The City Council may cancel the improvements, all or
any part of the improvement, if it becomes clear that it is
financially not advisable to proceed with it.
Adopted by the City Council of �he City of Orono, Minnesota at a
_ regular meeting held September 15, 1980 .
