[aIiFREAS, r'[innesota Statutes 403 rec?uire that each
county submit a final 911 nlan to the denartment of Administration
b�� December 15 , 1979 and each count�� shall have an onerational
911 telephone svstem by Decemher I5 , 19�2 , and
[^TfiEREAS, the Hennepin �rterqenc�� Comriunications Organization
(HFCO) has prepared a final "911 Plan �or Hennenin County" that
has been submitted to the Hennepin County Boarc� of Cor.u�isszoner_s, and
�^JHFRFAS, the rules promul�ated b:l the De�artment of
Administration ��hich govern the design and operation o� 911 s��stems
in r'iinnesota r_ec�uire a certification b�� the countv board that the
`inal 911 plan Meets the needs of_ the safety agencies whose services
�aill be available by dialinq 911, and
� WHFREAS, representatives of the Cit�� of nrono have
participatP�� in the develo�ment of the final "911 Plan For
Fiennepin County" .
NOTa, THEREFORE, IT IS ?2FSnLV�D that the City of Orono
her_eby certifies that the final "911 nlan ror Hennex�in Countv"
rleets the needs of the safety agencies whose services are available
��ithin the City of Orono, and
IT IS �'UR"'HF.R RESOLVED that the Citv of nrono recortmenc�s
that the Hennepin County Board of Comrmissioners a�nrove the final
"911 Plan For_ Hennenin Cotinty" as submitted by IiECn.
