Install a pump to remove the accumulated water. • • • • In addition to the Additional Terms on Page 2, Owner is responsible for the following: •Excavation area must be cleared at least 6’ away from all exterior walls before installation date; includes moving appliances, furniture, carpeting or other flooring, bathroom fixtures, removing baseboards, and cutting finished walls as needed to provide sufficient access. Owner agrees to sign a change order for additional fees if Rite-Way needs to perform any clearing activities and hold Rite-Way and its working forces harmless from, and waives all claims for, damage to personal or real property that may result. •Paneling and/or sheet rock walls may have to be cut off at the bottom including framing. Existing flooring in excavation area will be lost. •Owner assumes responsibility for providing a working electrical outlet in vicinity of sump pump; working carbon monoxide & smoke detectors according to local building ordinance. •Where Owner chooses to not remove a framed wall in the project area, Owner holds Rite-Way harmless from damage caused by dampness or condensation in or behind the wall assembly. •Owner assumes responsibility for restoration of the work area to its pre- construction condition, including but not limited to removing job dust; replacement of appliances, furniture, flooring; paint, sheetrock, or paneling. •Owner agrees to pay foreman upon completion of the work, unless other noted in this Contract. Cancellation Notice. In the event this contract was procured through a home solicitation sale as defined by Minnesota Statutes Section 325G.06, you are entitled to the following notice by law: “You, the Owner, may cancel this Agreement at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this Agreement.” See Addendum E for a full explanation of your cancellation rights. In all other circumstances, this contract is binding when signed by you and us. Owner acknowledges receipt of oral notice of this right of cancellation.
