Box 66 Crystal gay, Minnesota 55323 Subject: Percolation Tests Lot 6, Johnson's Rearrangement of Abbey's Long Lake Addition Dear Mike: We have reviewed the percolation tests submitted on the sutject project, and it appears to be acceptable for the design of a drainfield. We would, however. caution you that when inspection is made of this to ascertain that it is constructed with no core than the proper amount of slope across the drain - field. The area is rather hilly and care will need to be ex- ercised to insure that this is done properly. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contcct us. Tests consisted of one soils boring to eight feet in depth and six holes 24 to 36 inches in depth. Soils encountered were: top soil, brown clay, brown sandy clay, and red brown clay. No water was observed. • Percolation rates averaged 26 minutes per inch. At this rate the drain field required is 234 square feet • for each proposed bedroom. Suggested alternate drain field sites are shown. tie would recommend use of the area southwest of the proposed house as the first alternative. Tho proposed primary drain Meld has its upper and east side approximately two feet below the proposed house whilatha lower end is apprr '-ely six feet below the proposed house level. The stated percolation rat n average of rates at the locations shown and no —rantee is implied or expressed that these conditYor,:; exist for the entire proposed drain field area. If we can be of further assls'anc., please advise. Sincerely, E. A. HIC(KOK AND ASSOCIATES JL,, lorin3n C. Wcnck, P.E.
