RES I LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION ACCEPTI G DONATION
WHEREAS,the city of Orono is authorized by Minn. at.465.03 to accept donations of property
for the benefit of its people and is specifically authorized to accept gifts; and
WHEREAS, the Minnetonka Beach Civic Association has made a donation to the Orono Police
Department; and
WHEREAS,the value of this donation is $100.00; and
WHEREAS,the donation has been donated to Orono fir the benefit of its residents; and
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it is appropria - to accept the donation.
RESOLVED that the Orono City Council gratefully ac epts the donation of a$100.00.
FURTHER, police department staff will acknowled_e receipt of the donation and express
appreciation to the Minnetonka Beach Civic Associatio ii.
Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a -gular meeting held on July 28, 2025.
