A RESOLUTION ORDERING STREET CONSTRUCTION
AND AWARDING BID THEREON RING ROUTE ROAD

100/ M.S.A. FUNDS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
construction of the Ring Route Road from the intersection at North
Shore Drive and Bayside Road north and northeasterly to the inter-
section at 6tn Avenue No. and Watertown Rd. using 100/ M.S.A. funds,
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids �rere received complying with the advertisement:
Contractor Bid
Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. �622,719.00
Hardrives. Inc. $648,55z.00
C. S� McCrossan Inc. $832,094.00
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Buffalo Bituminous, Inc.
of Buffalo, Minnesota is the lowest reponsible bidder,
NO W, THEREFO�, BE IT RESpLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA;
� 1 . The Mayor and Clerk-Administrator are hereby
authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Buffalo
Bituminous of Buffalo, Minnesota in the City of Orono, Minnesota
for the construction of the Ring Route Rd. from the intersection
at North Shore Drive and Bayside Road north and northeasterly to
the intersection at 6th Avenue North and Watertown Rd. using 1000
M.S�A� f'unds, according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Clerk-Administrator.
2. The City Clerk-Administrator is hereby authorized
and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has
been signed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a
regu7.ar meeting held June 12, 1979.
