RESOLUTION N0. 1035 _ . .
• ' A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLAT OF
STIELOWS SECOND ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the "laws of the State of Minnesota ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted
subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development
of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application
for a subdivision plat by Lynn Charlson and John Peterson (LAD
Development) , the subdivider; and ,
WHEREAS, the subdivider has completed all requirements of
the platting regulations of the City, including: � .
. 1. Dedication on the plat of drainage and utility easements.
2. Dedication on the pla t of a drainage easement over the
• marsh area along the shoreline of Lot 1.
3. Payment to the City of a Park Dedication Fee in the
amount of $200.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Orono hereby approves the plat of Stielows Second Addition,
Hennepin County, Minnesota ; subject to the following conditions :
1. The aforesaid plat shall be filed with the Hennepin
� � County Recorder's Office on or before November 22, 1979,
together with a certified original� copy of this Resolution.
2. Lots 1 and 2 are riparian to Lake Minnetonka. Dockage
may be extended across the "drainage easement" on Lot 1
to navigable water in accordance with all ordinances
regazding dock construction and use. � � •
3. Lot 1 shall have no direct access from County Road 84
� but all access shall be from the private road, Stielows
� � Addition, Outlot B.
• 4. Lot 1 has had a drainfield site tested and approved for
installation of• a innovative mound-type sewage treatment
system according to Ordinance No. 210, which site must
be reserved for said purpose. •

5. Lot 2 has had a drainfield site tested and approved
for installation of an innovative shallow trench
system for the primary field and an innovative mound
system for the secondary field, which sites must be
reserved for use as drainfield.
6. Lots 1 and 2 are to be served by a shared driveway
with a shared easement along the common property line.
7 . All conditions of Resolution No. 939 approving the
original Stielows Addition which applied to the
property now redivided as Stielows Second Addition
shall continue in effect including all recorded
easements and covenants regarding use and maintenance
of the private road and the recorded flowage and
conservation easement over the drainage area now on
Lot l, Stielows Second Addition.
The approval granted by this Resolution shall expire if the plat has
• not been filed by the date specified above. In that event, it will
be necessary to file a new application with the City of Orono for
subdivision review.
