A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TAKIPIG OF LAND BY EP�lINENT
DOMAIN FOR PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE
RING ROUTE PRQJECT 79-1
' �aHEREAS, the City Council has ordered preparation of .
a resolution authorizing taking of_ land by eminent dor.iain
and the City Engineer has recomrnended the acquisition of land
for public ric�ht-of-way purposes at the locations hereinafter
specified, and it appears to the Council that it is necessary
that the City acquire such lands, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono:
l. That it is hereby determined that the taking of
each of the tracts and parcels of_ land set forth in paragraph
3 hereof is necessary for the Public good in order that said
tracts and parcels shall be devoted to public right-of-way.
• 2. That the City shall take by right of eminent domain
for public right-of-way purnoses the lands described in para-
graph 3 hereof, and the City Attorney be hereby authorized
and directed to commence proceedings in the District Court
of Hennepin County for appointr.tent of Commissioners to c�eter-
mine the damages,if any, sustairie.d by the respective owners
of the parcels affected by such taking, as authorized by law,
and
3. That the lands above referred to are more particu-
larly described as per Exhibit A attached.
