A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HENNEPIN COUNTY TO PLACE �
NO PARKING SIGNS ON SOUTH BROWN ROAD (CO. RD. 146)
WHEREAS, starting on April 4th 1979, Shoreline Drive will
be closed because of the Tanager Lake bridge repairs and
WHEREAS the detour for Shoreline Drive will be South Brown
Road and
WHEREAS the traffic on South Brown Road will be increased
to the extent that any parking on South Brown Road could create safety
� hazards.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Orono does
hereby request Hennepin County Public Works Department to place no
parking signs on South Brown Rd. from North Shore Drive at the south
to the Orono border to the north. '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the no parking signs be installed
immediately upon receipt bf this resolution and remain in effect until
• the completion of construction or until the City of Orono requests the
removal of the no parking signs.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the C'ty
of Orono at a regular council meeting on April 3, 19
