A RESOLUTTON REQUESTING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT A TRAFFIC STUDY, ON CASCO
POINT ROAD AND DUNWOODY AVE. IN THE CITY OF ORONO.
WHEREAS on October 19, 1978 the City of Orono did receive a
petition from several citizen�. on Casco Point requesting a lowsring
of the speed limi.t on part of Casco Point Rd. and all of Dunwoody
Avenue and, \
WHEREAS, the City of Orono staff has re viewBd the petition and
does agree that a traffic s�udy be conducted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Orono does hereby
request o.f the Minnesota Department of Transportation to conduct a
traffic study on that part of Casco Point Road from Shoreline Drive
south to Casco Ave. and on Dunwoody Ave. from Shoreline Drive south
to Casco Point Rd. , and to report back to the City of Orono the find-
ings of that study.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a
• regu2.ar meeting held March 13, 1979.
