RESOLUTION ON WESTERN ' AiJD �dORTH��IESTERN
HENiJE�IfJ COUNTY LAW EiVFORCEf�IENT STUDY
WHER�AS, several suburban ur�its of government have requested technical
assistance fr�m the Hennepin County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to
assess tf�e law erforcement service needs and problems of their communities; and
6JHEREAS, the Hennepin County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council has
directed its staff to initiate a study to assess the police services needs of
the suburban communities located in '�Jestern and Nortnwestern Nennepin County.
BE IT RESULVED, that the Courty of Hennepin agrees to participate in a
study of law enforcement needs and problems affecting corranunities in Western
and iVorttn�estern Hennepin County; and
BE IT FlJRTHER RESOLVED, that �he Hennepin County Sheriff, the Office of
Planning and Deveiopment and other County agencies are requested to cooperate
in this study.
