Re: Well Abandonment at 3457 Crystal Place, Orono
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Sampson:
As per your request, I extended your deadline for abandoning
the well on your property until one year from closing or
October 5, 1988. As of this date, a well abandonment permit has
not been issued.
This letter is to inform you that since the deadline !,cis
past and the well has not been abandoned or been inspected to
show it is functioning, it leaves us no alternative but to
initiate legal proceedings against you. Action will be withhelc;
until October 24, 1988. If at the end of that time you have
failed to comply, citations will be issued and the matter
referred to the prosecuting attorney for further legal action.
