Dear Mr. Muhich:
As you know from our recent discussions, we are the buyers of the
above -referenced premises ("the property").
On September 13, 1968, the City of Orono issued a Conditional Use
Permit for the property to be used for the operation of a furniture
upholstery business. That permit was issued for the benefit of Leonard
Buckley, doing business as Buckley Upholstery; and that permit is still in
effect. We are told and therefore represent to the City of Orono that
between the date of the issuance of the permit and the date of this letter,
no change in the use of the property has occurred.
It is our desire and intent to continue to use the property for
the operation of a furniture upholstery business. Therefore, we request
that the existing conditional use permit for the property to be transferred
officially to us. Please submit this request to the City Council at its
next meeting.
