backs up on a drive along the Burlington. -Northern RR, The
Welters have requested a variance to coristi _ict a two car garage
attached -to the south end of t-hei}, house. anc-. extending over a
part of a permanent utility easement for a mun.ic pal -:eater main
which lies just east of Lot 1, Lot 3. Is 50" vide and -the
easement is 201 wide. The Welters now have a one car garage
on Crystal Bay Rd„
It is my opinion that the full 20'' easement width be preserved,
The Village contractor was forced -to carry- the excavated dirt
from this easement out in a -truck, dump :l_t onside the construction
area, reload it and bring it back due to the tight working
conditions and a belligerent neighbor. Future maintenance
would also be difficult at best and and encroaching structure
would further complicate the work.
