Gentlemen:
The Council has approved the vacation of the 25-foot
street between your respective properties with the
following conditions:
a) This will only include that part of the street
between the railroad tracks and Crystal Bay Road,
the part between Crystal Bay Road and the lake will
remain Village property.
b) The sewer assessment on the 25 feet will have
to be paid by you at $12.00 per foot, which was the
initial cost, or $300.00 plus an acreage charge which
would be roughly $5.00.
c) The Village will retain a utility easement on
foresaid vacated street. This will prevent any
construction thereon, but will allow it to be part of
the setback in the eventuality you would want further
construction on your respective properties, allowing
you to build right upfavacated street.
If these conditions are agreeable with you, please
notify me and I will draw up a resolution giving
this property to you.
