Dear Mr. Rippentrop:
The Building and Zoning Department is in receipt of your
app'tication for a building permit, which was received by this
office on September 12, 1990. A review of the material submitted
indicates the following items needed for review are missing:
1. Certificate of Survey certifying the staked location of
the proposed house. Your surveyor must stake the house and
appropriate offsets, and certify those on a Certificate of
Survey. The survey must include dimensions of all proposed
buildings and reference dimensions measured perpendicular to
the front and side lot lines. Also, provide elevations for
the top of foundation, garage floor and all other floors.
2. Provide a final detailed grading plan showing existing
and proposed contours, along with detailed designs for all
proposed retaining walls.
3. We will need two full sets of final. plans submitted.
4. Energy calculations must be submitted.
5. The septic system design is incomplete in that we need
a design layout for the septic tanks and a proposed well
location, a proposal. for tank sizes, and a detailed pump
station design calculation worksheet.

The City of Orono normally will not issue footing and foundation
permits unless a major delay will be caused by the City's failure
to complete a plan review in a timely manner once all. information
has been submitted. Because your application is so incomplete,
and because we would anticipate a timely review once all your
information is submitted, no partial. permit for foundation work
will be granted in this case.
Please submit the required information as soon as possible. If
you have any questions, please contact me or the Inspections
Department at 473-7357.
