RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
NO. 2303
A RESOLUTION APPROVING
A METES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISION
OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT
FOR JOHN LEHMEYER AND ROSE MADDEN
APPLICATION NO. 1203
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized
and existino under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City
Council") has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and
safe development of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a
subdivision by Rose Madden and John Lehmeyer (hereinafter "the applicants")
of properties legally described as follows:
(John Lehmeyer) Lots 2, 3, & 4, Block 6, "BAYSIDE ADDITION TO LAKE
MINNETONKA", Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
(Rose Madden) Lots 5, 6, 7, & 8, Block 6, "BAYSIDE ADDITION TO LAKE
MINNETONKA", Hennepin County, Minnesota, (hereinafter "the property");
and
WHEREAS, the subdividers have completed all requirements of the
City for a metes and bounds subdivision for division and combination
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds subdivision of a lot line
rearrangement for. Rose Madden and John Lehmeyer as shown on a certificate
of survey by Phillip A. Nelson dated Auc;ust 27, 1987, revised October 28,
1987 and attached to this resolution as Exhibit A, subject to the following
conditions:
1. Upon approval of the subdivision by the City Council of Orono, the
owner of Parcel A, as described in the certificate of survey
referenced above, must apply to the City for legal combination for tax
purposes with Parcel B, as described in that same survey. ,
2. The aforesaid division as shown on the attached certificate of
survey shall be filed by the City of Orono with the Hennepin County
Recorder's office on or before May 23, 1988 together with a certified
original copy of this resolution.
The approval granted by this Resolution shall expire if the
division has not been filed by the date specified above. In that event, it
will be necessary to file a new application with the City of Orono for
subdivision review.
