Pursuant to Resolution No. 2351, passed by the City Council of
Orono on January 11, 1988, a copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit A, and Minnesota Statutes, §§463.15 to 463.261, you are
hereby ordered to repair or to raze and remove the hazardous
building located at 325 Crestview Avenue, City of Orono, County of
Hennepin, State of Minnesota, legally described as follows:
Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block 5, Bayside Addition to Lake
Minnetonka.
Grounds For The Order. Thf building located upon the
property described above is in an unsafe, uninhabitable,
unsanitary and deteriorated condition. Due to deteriorating, and
in some areas, nonexistent, foundation and footings, deteriorating
roof, poor wiring and numercus building code violations, the
City Council of the City of Orono has deemed the structure to be a
hazardous building which is public nuisance and unsafe and
hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare. Because of
its condition, the City has determined that the 4ding must be
either repaired, or emptied, razed and removed.
2. Necessary Repairs. The following is a list of the
existing conditions at the building which must be repaired and
remedied:
1) Poor and/or non-existent footings and
foundation;
2) Walls rotting and deteriorating;
3) Chimney is not properly supported and is
deteriorating;
4) Ceilings falling dun to water damage and
deterioration;
5) Electrical service for entire house in need of
inspection by a master electrician to itemize and
repair several electrical hazards; and
6) All other conditions outlined in City
Resolution No. 2351, attached at Exhibit A and
incorporated fully herein.

3. Summary Enforcement and Time. A Motion for Summary
Enforcement of this Order will be made to the Hennepin County
District Court, unless corrective action is completed within 30
days of the date this Order is served or unless an Answer is
filed with the Court and upon the City by you within 20 days from
the date of service of this Order.

THOMAS JACOBS, being first duly sworn, deposes and states
as follows:

1988, he inspected the structure on the premises known as 325
Crestview Avenue, Orono.
3. Following the inspection of the property, it is his
opinion that due to the continuing deterioration of the footings,

foundation, walls, chimney and ceilings and insufficient
electrical service, the structure is a dangerous building and a
hazard to the public health and safety for the reasons stated in
Resolution No. 2351 of the Council of the City of Orono dated
January 11, 1988.
