A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT
THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL GRANT
ORONO A COMMUNITY COMPREHENSIVE
PLANNING FUND ENTITLEMENT
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota and the Metropolitan Council have directed
the City of Orono to review and update the City's comprehensive plan consistent with
Metropolitan Council Development Framework Guides and Formats; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has undertaken such planning, revision and
updating; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has provided a Community Comprehensive
Planning Fund entitlement of $2,874 to assist the City's planning efforts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE,IT RESOLVED, that the City of Orono hereby transmits
and requests consideration of the official Community Grant Application for,said
entitlement.
Adopted by the Orono Council this 26 day of September ,
a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
