A RESOLUTION TO INCREASE THE 1977-78
LEVY LIMITATION BY TEN PERCENT
WHEREAS, the City of Orono deems it necessary to
increase its levy limit by ten percent, according to Minnesota
State Laws, 1977, Chapter 423, Article 5, Section 6, and
WHEREAS, the 1977/78 limit base is $553,759, exclusive
of Local Government Aid, a ten percent increase would net a
permanent 1977/78 levy limit base of $609,135.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Orono's
permanent 1977/78 levy limit base is $609,135.

Minnesota at a regular meeting held August 8, 1977.

RESOLUTION NO. 818
. A RESOULTION APPROVING A SUBDIVISION FOR CONLEY BROOKS
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and
existing under the laws of the State of ]Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted subdivision
regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within the
City; and
11HEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a sub-
division by Conley Brooks;
NOW, TIff:REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Orono hereby approves the division of part of Govt. Lot 2, Section 26-118-23,
known as 38-41326-4010, subject to the following:
1. All necessary easements; specifically, adequate utility
easement running parallel with Spring Bill Road.
2. Park Dedication Fee in the amount of $500.00.
3. Title opinion addressed to the City.
•This resolution will expire March 1, 1978, if the aforesaid subdivision
plat has not been filed with the Hennepin County Recorder's Office. In that event,
it will be necessary to file a new application with the City of Orono for subdivision
approval.
