RESOLUTION NO. 581
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT
AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
WATERMAIN EXTENSION PROJECT 75-2
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted
Februaryll, 1975, a report has been prepared by Skip McCombs,
City Engineer, with reference to the construction and extension
of the watermain with hydrants to serve the Highwood Road area
along County Road 19, North Arm Drive, North Shore Drive and
Highwood Road, and this report was received by the Council
on March 11, 1975,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that:
• 1. The Council will consider the construction and exten-
sion of such watermain with hydrants in accordance with the
report and the assessment of all properties abutting benefited
by the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections
429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $57,750.00.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed
improvement on the 22nd day of April, 1975, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 p.m. and the clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improve-
ments as required by law.
3. This improvement project shall hereinafter be
referred to as Watermain Improvement Project 75-2.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this
11th day of March, 1975 by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
