RESOLUTION NO. 580
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT
AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1975-1
WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted the
28th day of January, 1975, fixed a date for a council hearing
on the proposed improvement of the drainage in the ravine
located near County Road No. 19, approximately 700 feet east
of the City's boundary lines by installing a 185 foot pipe,
a catch basin, and energy dissipater, and by filling the eroded
areas and thereafter sodding same, and
WHEREAS, ten days' published notice of the hearing
through two weekly publications of the required notice was
• given and the hearing was held thereon on the 25th day of
February, 1975, at which all persons desiring to be heard
were given an opportunity to be heard thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Orono, Minnesota:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in
the council resolution adopted on the 13th day of January, 1975.
2. Skip McCombs, City Engineer, is hereby designated
as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans
and specifications for the making of such improvement.
3. This improvement project shall hereinafter be
referred to as Drainage Improvement No. 1975-1.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this
11th day of March, 1975 by a vote of 4 ayes and lu nays.
