RESOLUTION NO. S71
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT
AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 75-1
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted
January 13, 1975, a report has been prepared by Skip McCombs,
City Engineer, with reference to the improvement of the drainage
in the ravine located near County Road No. 19, approximately 700
feet east of the City's boundary lines by installing a 185 foot
pipe, a catch basin, and energy dissipater, and by filling the
eroded areas and thereafter sodding same, and this report was
received by the Council on January 28, 1975,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such
drainage in accordance with the report and the assessment of all
properties both abutting and non -abutting benefited by the drainage
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to
429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost
of. the improvement of $11,700.00.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improve-
ment on the 25th day of February, 1975, in the Council Chambers of
the City Hall at 7:30 p.m., and the clerk shall give mailed and pub-
lished notice of such hearing and improvements as required by laws.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 28th
day of January, 1975 by a vote of -4- ayes and 0 nays.
