Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to advertise
the Sanitary -Sewer Improvement Nos. 73-1A,

i3 -1D, 73-1E, and 73-1F and receive bids
Friday, July 19, 1974 at 10:00 A. I.2. at
the City Hall at which time they will be
publicly opened and read with final approval
at the regular Council meeting July 23, 1974.

Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to approve the
City of the Village of Minnetonka Beach request
to join in an agreement with the Joint Assessing
District. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

#545 -Resolution #)545, a resolution adopting Joint Assessing
agreement authorizing execution and appointing Representative
representative and alternate. Motion, Ayes (5) -
Nays (0).
A status report halting further action to
establish a Metro Rate Authority while
establishing the Minnesota Public Utilities
Act for State wide regulation was accepted.

Zoning Residential Districts, be adopted but
to withhold publication until Council
approval. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
Welsh moved, Butler seconded, to purchase the
bull horn, helmets, and night sticks as
requested for the Police Department, at an
estimated cost of $400.00. Motion, Ayes (5) -
Nays ( 0) .
Welsh moved, Butler seconded, to adopt
Ordinance No. 166, which amends Chapter 73 of
the Municipal Code of Orono relating to
commercial docks. Notion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) .
Searles moved, Paurus seconded, to adopt
Ordinance No. 167, a Rip Rap Ordinance
protecting shorelines as presented by the
City Attorney with additions. %lotion,
Oyes (5) - Nays (0).
The City Attorney presented a report on the
sign ordinance. It was recommended that he
submit a redraft of the sign ordinance and
submit it at the July 9, 1974 Council meeting.
