A RESOLUTION ABOLISHING THE PRIMARY ELECTION
SYSTEM FOR THE NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES FOR
CITY OFFICES FOR THE CITY OF ORONO
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono believes
that it is not in the best interests of the public that a primary
election be held for the purpose of nominating candidates for City
offices:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Orono
hereby abolishes the primary election system for the nomination of
candidates for City offices, which system was adopted by resolution
of the City Council of the City of Orono.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota
at a regular meeting held June 25, 1974.
