RESOLUTION # 530
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AXLE WEIGHT
LIMITS ON CITY STREETS
The City of Orono ordains that axle weight limits are restricted on the foi-
• lowing streets in the City of Orono from Aarch 15, 1974, through May 15, 1974:
Refuse collection vehicles shall be operated in accordance with regulations as
provided in Ordinance #114, 66.080, which states: (1) no refuse collection
vehicle shall be opeeateU�dur:ng The seasonal restriction time where the gross
weight on any single axle exceeds ;4,000 pounds; and (2) no vehicle shall be
operated upon any City road at any time where special posting specifically
prohibits refuse collection vehicles.
The following streets are limited to five ton axle limits: Arbor Street, Baldur
Park, Barrett Avenue, Birch Lane, Bedei`wood Drive, Blaine Avenue, Bayview Place,
Bohnts Point Road, Bohnts Point Lane, Border Avenue, Brackett's Point Road,
Briar Street, North Brown Road, Carman Road, Carman Street, Caroline Avenue,
Casco Avenue, Casco Circle, Casco Point Road, Central Avenue, Cherry Avenue,
Cherry Place, Chevy Chase Rcad, Chippewa Lane, Concordia Street, Corral Road,
Country Club Read, Crestview Avenue, Crystal Avenue, Crystal Bay Road, Crystal
Place, Cygnet Place, Dahl Road, Dakota Avanue, Dickenson Street, Dickenson
Street Alleys, Dunwoody Avenue, East Lake Street, East Long Lake Road, Elm
Street, Elmwood Avenue, Elm Lane, Ethel Avenue, Fairview Cottage, Fagerness
Point Road, Ferndale Green, West Ferndale Road, Forest Arm Lane, Forest lake

The following streets are limited to four ton axle limits: Homestead Trail,
Starkey Road, Hunter Drive, Tamarack Drive, Willow Drive - Sixth Avenue - Medina,
Togo Road, Northern Avenue.
The fo['lowing bridges are limited to 15 ton gross: Willow Drive, Old Crystal
Bay Road.
The Old Crystal Bay Road; 9 ton axle limit.
