A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION
OF AN UNNAMED CARTWAY
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according
to law, a public hearing was held by the Village Council at the
Village Hall in the Village of Orono, Minnesota on October 9,1973
at 7:30 P.M. to consider the vacation of an unnamed cartway,
described as follows:
The West two (2) rods of the West half of the
Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 6, Township 117 North, Range 23 West,
lying Northerly of County Road 84.
Also, any cartway located North of County Road
84, and lying within the North one-half of the
Northeast one-quarter of Section 6, Township 117,
Range 23.
WHEREAS, no public intent would be served in the predictable
future by keeping the unnamed cartway as a Village road,
WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined the vacation
of the said cartway is in the best interests of the Village:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the above described
cartway is hereby vacated.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota
at a regular meeting held October 9, 1973.
