A RES01AUITION APPROVING THE VACATIO14 OF
OAK PLACE
WHEREAS76 pursuant to due and proper notice according to law,
a public nearing was held by the Village Council at the Village Mall in
the Village of Orono, Minnesota on May 12, 1969 at 7:30 P.M, to consider
the vac, --tion of Oak Place, described as follows;;
Block 6 and Block 7, Saga Bill Revised
Section 7 Township 117 Range 23
WHEREAS, no public: intent would. be served it the predictable
fvzure by keeling Oak Place as a Village road,
WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined the vacation of the
said street is in the best interests of the Vi.1'.age:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the above dascri.bed street
is hereby vacated,
BE 1T FURTHER RESOLVED What such vacation shall aot affect the
right of the Minneapolis Cas Company, its successors or assigns,, to enter
upon that portion of the aforedescribed Oak Place which is described as
follows g to -wit:
The Easterly and Southeasterly 20 feet, as measured at
so right angles to the Easterly and Southeasterly lines
thereof, of all that part of flak Place, vacated, lying
between Blocks :
