RESOLUTION NO. 491
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO CONSOLIDATION OF MUNICIPAL
MISDEMEANOR PROSECUTIONS.
WHEREAS the Village Council of Orono has reviewed the
recommendation that municipal misdemeanor prosecutions within
Hennepin County be consolidated in a central office,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Council
of the Village of Orono would only support such a consolidation
if it were restricted to the prosecution of traffic violations
and criminal matters not involving zoning or land use violations
or other prosecutions that are not included within the tradi-
tional concept of the criminal law.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono,
Minnesota, at a regular meeting held February 26, 1973.
