A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LONG LAKE-ORONO
SEWER INTERCEPTOR FOR HACKBERRY AREA
WHEREAS, the Long Lake sewer plant is inadequate and pollution
of the lake is occurring, and
WHEREAS, the Hackberry area of Orono is in need of sewer and
the hooking on of hackberry to the Long Lake system is the
only ps_actica? solution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest
of the Village of Orono for the Long Lake -Orono sewer interceptor
be pLt in immediately and that the proposed one year deferment
be denied.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota
at a regular meeting held February 12, 1973
