A RESOLUTION DECLARING LOMA LINDA AVENUE
AS A PUBLIC ROAD
The Village Council of the Village of Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota, does:
hereby declare and state that the portion of Loma Linda Avenue which extends
past the property known as 1180 Loma Linda Avenue, is legally described as .
follows;
All that part of Government Lot 4, Section 8, Township 117 North,
Range 23.West of the 5th Principal Meridan, described as follows.
Commencing at a point on the Section line between Sections 7 and
8, Township 117, Range 23, distant 50 feet North of the East and
West quarter line of said Section 8; thence running East paralles
with said East and West quarter line of said Section 8 to the
shore of Lake Minnetonka; thence Northeasterly following said lake -
shore to a point distant 100 feet North, measured at right angles
from the East and West quarter line of said Section 8, thence West
parallel with said East and West quarter line to the section line
to the section line between said Sections 7 and 8; thence South
along said Section line a distance of 50 feet to the point of be-
ginning,
has been used by the public and maintained by the Village of
Orono as a public road for more than.the last six (6) years.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono,, Minnesota at a reg-
ular meeting held October 9, 1972.

WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, has received from the Assistant Finance Director -
County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota, a list of lands in said
Village which became the property of the State of Minnesota for non-pay-
ment of taxes, which said list has been disignated as Classification
List 11646-C"; and
WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said list has heretofore
been classified by the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County,
Minnesota as non -conservation land and the sale thereof has heretofore been
authorized by said Board of County Commissioners:
