RESOLUTION #404
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLANS, AUTHORIZING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS AND FIXING DATE FOR RECEIPT
OF BIDS FOR THE WATER IMPROVEMENTS IN THE FAGERNESS
POINT AREA AND THE SHOREHILLS AREA TO THE NARROWS
BRIDGE OF ORONO FOR 1970LW-lA and 1970LW-lC
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Orono,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Village Engineer has submitted final plans and
Specifications for proposed water improvements in the Village, which
are hereby adopted as submitted. The Council reserves the right to
make any changes in said plans which may hereafter appear to be necessary
and expedient.
2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
cause advertisement for bids for the construction of said improvement
to be published as required by law in. the official newspaper of the
City, not less 'than three weeks before the date and time for opening of
bids, which shall take place at the Village Hall in the Village of. Orono
on Friday, the 20th day of August, 1971, at 11 o'clock a.m. The bid
security shall.be in the amount of 50 of the amount of the bid.
3. The Village Clerk -,and said engineer are hereby authorized
and directed -to receive, open and tabulate the bids received at said
time and place, and the Council shall meet at the Village Hall in the
Village on Monday, the 23rd day of August, 1971, at 8 o'clock p.m.,
for the purpose of considering such bids and awarding a contract, or
else rejecting all bids.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota at
a regular meeting held July 26, 1971.

RESOLUTION #405
A RESOLUTION REGARDING SETTLEMENT OF A DISPUTED BILL
ON WELL #2 BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ORONO AND BERGERSON-CASWELL, INC.
WHEREAS, Bergerson-Caswell, Inc. and the Vi-1lage of Orono
entered into a contract on November 9, 1970, for, the construction. of
'deep well #2 of the Navarre Water System, Improvement 1970LW-1; and
WHEREAS,*a dispute has arisen between the parties regarding
the cost of item #3 of Section C of the bid on said contract; and
