RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

APPOINT ELECTION JUDGES AND ESTABLISH ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD
WHEREAS, a special election will be held May 13, 2025 for one city council member seat; and
WHEREAS, appointment of election judges, prior to the election they will serve, is required by
Minn. Stat. §204B.21 Subd. 2; and
WHEREAS, establishment of an Absentee Ballot Board is required by Minn. Stat. §203B.121
Subd. 1; and
RESOLVED that the Orono City Council appoints the following individuals to serve as election
judges:
Adrian Wear Holly Sue Rocca Leonard Freeman Sandra Whisler
Ainsley Kaufman Janna Sundby Lindsay Freeman Sherry White
Bonnie Martinson Jeff Strandberg Mary Tucker Susan Bro
Carl Borg Jennifer Weiss Nancy Danielson Susan Heurung
Carolyn Strandberg Jill Kunze Penny Saiki Ted Schultze
Cathleen Wilkins Joy Grundeen Regina Engebritson
Dana Sheehan Julie Ruegemer Richard Rohrer
Deborah Houston Kaitlin Thompson Sandie Berger
Debra Cornick Kirk Nelson Sandra Keegan
FURTHER RESOLVED, the Orono City Council establishes an Absentee Ballot Board with
the following individuals: Nola Dickhausen, Cathleen Wilkins, Jennifer Weiss, Kirk Nelson,
Sandra Keegan, Sherry White, Rick Rohrer and Susan Bro; and
FINALLY RESOLVED, the City Clerk is authorized to appoint additional election judges and
absentee ballot board members as needed.
Adopted by the ity ouncil of Orono,Minnesota at a regular meeting held March 10, 2025.
