A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THAT THE
PART-TIME POSITION HELD BY
CHRISTOPHER M. PHARO
IS THAT OF A POLICE OFFICER AS DEFINED
FOR PURPOSES OF PERA PENSION ELIGIBILITY

WHEREAS,that Public Employees Retirement Association Police and Fire Fund
excludes part-time police officers unless a resolution is adopted by the governing body to
authorize eligibility for coverage in the Police and Fire Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Orono,
• Hennepin County, Minnesota that effective July 11, 2005, the position Christopher M. Pharo
holds is that of a police officer as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 353.64, Subdivision 2
pursuant to which said employee shall become a member of the Public Employees Retirement
Association Police and Fire Ftuld.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,Minnesota at a regular meeting held
July 11,2005. .
