RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI L

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF
SISTER KENNY FOUNDATION
FOR A ONE DAY MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING EXEMPT PERMIT ,
WHEREAS, the Sister Kenny Foundation has applied to the State of Minnesota
Gambling Control Board for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to conduct lawful
gambling activities; and
WHEREAS,the Sister Kenny Foundation proposes to conduct a one day
gambling activity(raffle) as part of Art of Living Gala ancl Auction to be held at the Minnetonka
Center for the Arts located at 2240 North Shore Drive on June 14, 2005; and
� WHEREAS,the Sister Kenny Foundation is required to obtain approval of the
gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,the Orono City Council does
hereby approve the application for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for the Sister
Kenny Foundation to conduct a one day gambling activity(raffle) at 2240 North Shore Drive on
June 14, 2005.
Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 13th day of June,
2005.
