Dear Mr. Johnson:
Thank you for your courtesy in showing me, Mr. Mills
and the Commissioners around your property Wednesday morning.
This letter will confirm our arrangements with respect
to the water main, hydrant, and turn -around which the Village
of Orono wishes to locate on your property:
1) Orono will cause the water main to be resurveyed
to be 20 feet in width along the line shown in red
on the attached survey, rather than as drafted on
the Coffin survey of May 12, 1972.
2) The resurvey will be done in your presence and the
easement line stated.
3) As a part of the improvement of Concordia Street,
the Village will remove the hydrant now on your
property.
4) You will then grant a permanent water main easement
to the Village of Orono 20 feet in width along the new
survey line for $1.00 per lineal foot.
5) You will grant a turn -around easement, also shown
in red, at the end of Concordia Street.
6) The Village will remove all debris after construction
of the water main and put topsoil back over the easement
area.
