SUBJECT: Condemnation - 100 foot turn around, Johnson
DATE: May 5, 1972
Howard Johnson apparently will not give the Village
an easement for a 100 foot tarn around on Concordia
Street in Eagerness point. (See attached)
It is now suggested that we proceed to condemn the
property to resolve the matter and provide an adequate
turnaround.
If you agree, we need a motion to proceed with con-
demnation. Should the Village pay for the land and at-
torney and appraiser costs or should the cost be assessed
against benefited property?
