A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MOBILE TELEPRINTER SYSTEM
FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Hennepin County is submitting an application for a Federal
Grant under the Discretionary Grant Program, Title 1, Omnibus Crime
Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 for upgrading the present Police
and Sheriff radio communication system to include mobile teleprinter
operation; and
WHEREAS, the various law enforcement jurisdictions in Hennepin County
will be participating in the use of the proposed system;
BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Orono will participate in the system
in accordance with the provisions contained in the Federal Grant Program
and will participate in the cost sharing of the system in accordance with
the estimated cost as indicated in the.attached information sheet.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that should Federal funds be reduced or
eliminated it is understood that local yearly costs to each user will
be increased in the same proportion as the percentage of reduction of
Federal funds.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Oror"b, Minnesota, at a
special meeting held June 16, 1971.

RESOLUTION #397
A RESOLUTION REGARDING DETACHMENT
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN ORONO
WHEREAS, the said described real estate presently is a part of the Village
of Orono but abutts on the Village of Spring Park; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Orono is willing that this concurrent detachment
and annexation be accomplished;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The legal description of the real estate involved is set forth on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
2. UPON ADOPTION BY THE VILLAGE OF SPRING PARK of a resolution concurrent
with this resolution, annexing the said real estate to the Village of
Spring Park, the said real estate shall be detached from the Village of
Orono. _
3. A certified copy of this resolution shall be forewarded to the
