A RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT THE CONCEPT
OF FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Orono,
Minnesota, that
1) The concept of federal revenue sharing as proposed by
President Nixon is sound; and
2) It is in the best interests of the Village of Orono that
such a plan be enacted; and
3) Local government' He' ea§... fadditional revenue,sources to finance
public services that will reduce the'bbrdeh of the property tax; and
4) Present federal programs lack flexibility and result in long
delays in obtaining grants. }
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Orono Village Council that
it support the concept of federal revenue sharing and request that the
funds be.realloca.ted within present revenue without increased taxes
and be granted to local government without special conditions.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING CLASSIFICATION LIST .'645-C"
AND ITS TAX -FORFEITURE SALE
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Hennepin
County, Minnesota,.has r-eceived from the County Auditor of Hennepin
County, Minnesota,, a -lis-t� of -lands in said village which became the
property of the,State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes, which said
list has been designated as Classification List "645-C"; and
WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said list has heretofore
been:% -classified by -the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin'County,
Minnesota as non -conservation land and the sale thereof has heretofore
been authorized by said Board of County Commissioners:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said Village Council, acting
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes for 1949.,,. Section 282.01, Subd. 1, that
