treatment works and necessary appurtenances thereto owned and operated
by'the Village, and directed the Village to transfer to the.Board all -
of its right, title and interest in and to such treatment works and
appurtenances. The Metropolitan Council, by its Resolution No. 70-58,
approved the acquisition of the Village of Orono's treatment works by
the Sewer Board.
2. The Village of Orono shall transfer its sewage treatment works and.
necessary appurtenances and the property on which the treatment works
and such appurtenances are located to the Sewer -Board as of December 1,
1970; and the Mayor and Village Administrator are authorized and directed
to execute all.deeds, conveyances and contracts necessary for this
purpose, including a contract similar in form and content to the one
attached hereto and marked Exhibit A, with necessary modifications.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono at a'regular
meeting held November 23, 1970.

RESOLUTION #375
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE AND
FIXING DATE AND OTHER DETAILS OF PUBLIC
SALE OF $1,130,000 IMPROVEMENT BONDS
Member Searles introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of t:h•e Village of Orono, Minnesota,
as follows:
1.It is hereby found and. determined that this Council did
on May 25, 19701% by Resolution #338, order a local improvement under
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, designated as Improvement 1970LW-1;
that the estimated cost of said improvement is $1,108,000, and that
it is necessary and expedient for the Village to offer and sell at
this time its general obligation Temporary Improvement Bonds in the
principal amount of $1,130,000, for the purpose of paying the cost
of said improvement, $22,000 of said bonds repres"nting interest as
authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.56.
2. This Council shall meet in the Village Hall in said Village
on the 12th day of January, 1971, at 5:00 o'clock P.M., for the purpose
of receiving and considering sealed bids for the purchase of said bonds,
and awarding the -sale thereof. The Village Clerk shall cause notice
of sale of said bonds to be published not less than 10 days before
the'date specified for receipt of bids in the Minnetonka Sun and the
Commercial West.
