A RESOLUTION COMMENDING DUDLEY RUSSELL
WHEREAS, Dudley Russell, Chairman of the Village Planning
Commission for the past nine years-, has wholeheartedly given
dedicated service to the solution of Village problems as they arose,
often over.and above the duties of his office,
BE IT RESOLVED.by the Village..Council of the Village of
Orono, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the residents of the Village, through their
duly elected representatives, extend to'Dudley.
Russell their gratitude and thanks -for this
service as Chairman of the Planning Commission.
2. That the Clerk -Administrator be hereby directed
to send to Dudley Russell a copy of this resolution.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly made
by Councilman Searles and seconded by Councilman McCarthy, and upon
vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof:.
Mayor Oberhauser,..•Councilmen Searles and McCarthy. Councilmen Butterfield
and Franzel absent.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted at.a
regular meeting held November 9, 1970.

A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT 1970 LW -119
ORONO MUNICIPAL WATER PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Orono,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. Lt is hereby found and determined and declared that the low-
est responsible bidders for the work and materials necessary for the
construction of Improvement 1970 LW -1 of the Village are as follows:
