A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1971 TAX LEVY, COLLECTIBLE IN 1971
BE 'IT'RESOLVED'by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, County
of Hennepin, Minnesota, that'the'following sums of money be levied for the
current year, collectible in 1971 upon taxable property in the Village of
Orono, for the following purpose:
For All Funds including P..E.R.A. $329,453.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Sewer Debt Redemption Fund levy of
$23•,•300.00 for 1970 adopted September 4, 1963 by Resoltuion #23 is
unnecessary and is ordered cancelled.
The Village Clerk is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of
this resoltuion to the County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota at a
regular meeting held September 28, 1970.

RESOLUTION #367
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF SPLIT LIQUOR TO THE VOTERS
WHEREAS, municipalities are now authorized by law to issue
"on -sale" licenses to hotels and restaurants while continuing a Municipal
dispensary for the "off -sale" of intoxicating liquor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF ORONO, MINNESOTA:
1. It is desirable and in the public interest to issue private
licenses for the sale of liquor for consumption on the licensed premises
while continuing the operation of the municipal dispensary to sell
intoxicating liquor in original packages off the premises ("off -sale").
2. Pursuant to Ch. 1127, Laws 1969, a special election shall
be held at the time of the"general election.at-Oroiio,,Iinnesota, on the
third day of November, 1970; from 7:00 A.M, to 8:00 P.M., at which time
and place the following proposition shall be submitted to the voters.
"Shall the Village of Orono be authorized to issue private
"on -sale" liquor licenses to hotels having not less than
ten guest rooms and dining room seating not less than
