And that it is necessary and expedient for the Village to offer and
sell at this time its general obligation Improvement Bonds in the
principal amount of $355,000.00, for the purpose of paying the cost of
said improvements., $6,969.00 of said bonds representing interest as
authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.56.
2. This Council shall meet in the Village Hall in said Village on the
8th day of July, 1970, at 8:00 P.M., for the purpose of receiving and
considering sealed bids for the purchase of said bonds, and awarding
the sale thereof. The Village Clerk shall cause notice of sale of said
bonds to be published not less than 10 days before the date specified
for receipt of bids in the Mound=Westonka Sun and.the Commercial West.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by;.,;Councilman McCarthy, and upon vote being- taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Oberhauser, Councilmen
Butterfield, Franzel, McCarthy, and Searles; and the following voted
against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The Clerk presented proposed forms of -notice of sale of the fore-
going bonds, which were examined,"approved and ordered placed on file
by the Village Clerk.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota at
a regular meeting held June 8, 1970.;---.7
